Prior to becoming an Assemblymember, Tina McKinnor was a small business owner and the Civic Engagement Director for LA VOICE, a multi-racial, multi-faith, community-based organization dedicated to equity and abundance for all.
Our Assembly District is in a renaissance. From Space X to SoFi Stadium and from Lawndale to West Los Angeles, we are seeing the benefits and the impacts of renewed interest in our business corridors and neighborhoods. COVID-19 has elevated the discussion about our healthcare system. Citizens are demanding new approaches to community safety and immigration. Small businesses need support to thrive and succeed.
That’s why I’m running for State Assembly.
I raised my children in this district. My small business is here. I have lived and been an active resident in Inglewood, Hawthorne, and Lawndale, where became the co-founder and President of the Lawndale Democratic Club.
